Check that the box has enough capacity for incoming and outgoing fibers, and that cable entry points are secure. Open the box and identify the splice tray or cassette where fibers will be organized.Step 2: Prepare the Fiber CablesStrip the fiber jacket carefully to expose the bare fiber without nicking it.Clean the fiber using isopropyl alcohol and lint-free wipes to remove dust or oils .Cleaving: Use a precision cleaver to cut the fiber ends cleanly, ensuring smooth, perpendicular surfaces for optimal light transmission.Step 3: Choose a Splicing MethodFusion Splicing: Uses a fusion splicer to weld two fiber ends together with an electric arc.
